Chiller Engineer - Refrigeration - Glasgow



We have immediate vacancy for a qualified Refrigeration Engineer to work for a major HVAC & Refrigeration company with a network of branches UK wide.

Service & Maintenance work is mainly on industrial water chillers. All the work will be in the local area to where you live.



PACKAGE:

Basic salary to £30K + paid overtime

COMPANY:

Worldwide building services company and equipment manufacturer.



JOB:

To carry out service and repair on industrial refrigeration equipment, in particular water chillers.



Fault finding and diagnosing faults, repairing parts or replacing



To carry out routine planned preventative maintenance to a wide range of chillers and air conditioning equipment.



To carry our repair, overhaul and retrofit service on various manufacturers equipment



Provide 24/7 call out cover



BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

Refrigeration experience

City & Guilds 2078 Refrigeration Handling

City & Guilds NVQ level 2 & preferably 3 Refrigeration & Industrial Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Full driving licence



Preferably:

Experience in large reciprocating and screw Chillers and / or VRV Systems

Electrical Fault Finding & Knowledge in PLC/Microprocessor control

Experience of Centrifugal and/or Absorption chillers would be an advantage
